Complete Color Matching

As I begin to think of ideas for building my TJ(Khaki), I am wondering about coloring matching the future armor, rear bumper, fenders, and even front bumper. I was wondering if anybody on here had done that, or what you peeps thought about the concept. I see a lot of black on the Khakis but I haven't really seen the complete one color tj.

Khaki is my favorite factory color for TJs, and I think it would look good color matched. Might also be a nightmare as bumpers, armor, flares, door handles, etc take a beating and start to show wear.

Stone white FTW! I love my color matched Sahara flares. Thinking about the bumpers and everything else though just seems like too much

I admit I was tempted by the stone white-looks great with the spice hardtop. At the time, the Sahara was only offered in stone white, moss green, and black. I went with the moss green (I really wanted a desert sand tan color), and of course (OF COURSE!) the very next model year they added khaki to the lineup. Already had a white car, and it was a lot of work to keep clean.

@Nightmare9's jeep is the closest to fully body matched that I can think of.

I like color matched TJs. It gives them a pretty clean look.

I've been thinking about grabbing a hardtop and color matching it.

It is even more matched with the Khaki top and correct color doors. I’ll probably try to ‘wrap’ the half doors in khaki vinyl.

The PO did a good job matching the armor and high fender. You can see the difference WAY more in this photo than in person. He could have easily matched the fender flairs and rock sliders the same. If he had maybe @Chris would quit picking on me

The jeep looks great. Mine also looks a bit off at some angles in bright light situations. I need to paint the windshield, hood, and section between the door and front fender so the 20-year-old paint matches the new better.

@Alex01's jeep looks very clean, as does @Nightmare9's. As I move forward I think color matching is definitely the way to go, the way the armor is flush with the rest of the body makes it very easy on the eyes, I used to want all black PC but the more I think about it the more I love khaki!
