Core support body mount spacers / snubbers?

02 TJ, P.O. had a 3 inch BL on it, unknown make. I'm installing a 2.5" suspension lift and reducing the body lift to a JKS 1.25".

The JKS kit comes with extended front snubbers. (Is that what they're called? Rubber piece on the corners of the core support that contacts the frame). The old 3 inch BL I'm taking off apparently had extended metal spacers. So I need to either find new factory spacers, or cut down the ones that are on there and weld them to the right size. I'm open to either route.

Anyone know what those spacers are called, or a source for new ones? I have no idea what to call them to even begin looking for them.

Or, anyone know the height of the factory spacers? Reason says I can take 3 inches out of these, but for all I know the old BL was a combination of taller spacers and taller snubbers.

Ok, maybe I missed something. Those metal spacers are 3 inches tall, and the rubber has a pentastar on it so I'm assuming those are factory. Do I just remove the metal altogether and pop the new JKS snubber in that hole?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just have no idea what these looked like before the 3 inch BL was put on it.

Yes, that bracket is not factory. Where that bolt is for the bracket is where the factory support fits in.

Did you already buy the JKS from your friend or did we persuade you otherwise?

The rubber at the end of those blocks is the factory support. Extending the grill support with a spacer is actually better than what JKS does with their long rubber support.

Yeah, I've realized this evening that the JKS wasn't the best choice. Honestly, I didn't research the BL. Of all things, I figured a body lift is pretty simple, how much difference could there be?

But, it's already bought and mostly installed, so it will be staying, for a bit at least. Already had enough other things make this lift more expensive than planned. Like the body mount bushings I'm having to replace now...

Like you, I also had purchased that body lift and then realized it wasn’t the best option. I ended up removing it and putting in a Savvy 1.25” because I saw a comment here that the uneven compression of the pucks had resulted in body damage. Ended up getting about 5/16” more height out of the Savvy
