Blaine sends one that he tapers in exchange for your old one and a small fee. Probably the best option for most people.

It is at least my preferred option, not the exchange part but the way I do it with the custom tapered sleeves I have made. Not obvious, but they are machined to have a 10 thou interference fit in the hole that I drill out to 3/4" and then ream to .760 to clean it up before I press the sleeve in. The part has a shoulder on top that is counterbored into the knuckle so the sleeve can't go out the bottom. The nut is larger than the small end on bottom so it can't go out the top. Then both ends are fusion welded with a Tig to add some more retention.
I've seen too many failures with any other style of insert.
If someone that was about to do this flip was interested, is the best approach to give you a call during the week? I did a quick look on the BMB site and didn’t see anything (but I could have overlooked too).
It isn't a BMB service. It is just something I do to help folks out. I got to see a whole bunch of ways it was done by others, didn't like any of them, came up with my own way and had parts built along with custom tooling to do it.
You can send me a knuckle or I can do one that I have, you do the swap and then send me the one you removed. Bonus is I check the sliders for divots and fix those if they are bad at the same time but only on the ones in my stash. If you want me to fix yours, I charge a bunch for that. I'm well into my second batch of a 100 inserts I have made at a time.
Excellent, once I get the sway links welded in I’ll get in touch so I can turn around the knuckle in a reasonable amount of time. Since I don’t have any regular access to a welder I’ll likely be a little bit.
