Currie Trac Bar Zerk Fitting Hits

This Zerk fitting is hitting and there is no way to give it space. Do i need to notch the bracket?

I would or put a needle zerk fitting in it, then maybe screw in a regular one at service time.

Grease won't come out. The best way to grease a JJ is to disassemble it.

Should plug the hole when you remove the zerk.

Mine had interference too, I plugged the hole and greased it by disassembling. I’ve never gotten any of my 18 JJs to take grease through a zerk.

There’s flush plugs you can use or use a flush greasable type (needle zerk).

Yes. But the more accessible location is also the same place where it would get wiped away on a rock.
