...and that's a loose statement lol. If somebody is prioritizing money to other projects then this is a reasonable modification. Otherwise I would go with a different bumper.@Joe.B, I had that bumper once. Tried to figure out how to stubby it. What @hosejockey61 did is as good as it gets I imagine.
The one thing I don't like abut those bumpers is that they leave the anti-rock unprotected. I built ends around mine that have scars from impacts that would have otherwise damaged the antirock or the bolts holding the arms on.Get a Moto bolt. Cheap, made in America, and looks great.View attachment 281647
It's funny... If you look at my profile pic, I have the same bumper too. I sold it for 100 bucks or something. The motobilt was about 250
Mike,I love your videos,if I were in Colorado instead of Missouri you would be doing my regear, keep up the good work!I have that exact bumper (body armor). I've modded it twice. Still ugly as sin but it takes a beating.
Yeah, I thought that was a pretty good idea when I saw you cap the ends. My brain immediately turned on and I started thinking about how I could cap the ends in mine. The one thing I don't like abut those bumpers is that they leave the anti-rock unprotected. A lot can be done with the OEM front bumper. They look good shortened and capped with the OEM fog lights, tow hooks, and rubber push pads.Stock bumpers are normally pretty close to free, at least in my area.
