My rear pinion seal is leaking, about a silver dollar size puddle a day. the axle is a Dana 44 non Rubicon. Any tips for replacement? What I have found leads me to replace the nut and washer, and just torque to 180-200 ft/lbs....

Hi Folks - Does anyone know the correct Spicer Part # for Dana 44 (Front and Back) Pinion seals? This is what I found on Google search and Amazon (Q and As)

Dana 44 Front Axle Pinion Seal
Part # 5072473AA (Spicer Part # 50660)
5066446AA (Spicer Part # 50531)

Dana 44 Rear Axle Pinion Seal
Part # 5066446AA (Spicer Part # 50660).

Are these the correct ones? I swapped my Dana 30/35 axles with Dana 44 axles from a 2006 TJ Rubicon so the VIN # won't work for my case.

As always, thanks in advance for all your support.

Do you have the lockers with the rubi axles? If so, it shows that 50531 is the correct seal.

50531 front and rear.

There's also an additional seal in the Rubis, Dana 47762 front and rear. Num 10 in the pic.
Num 9 is the 50531

I haven't replaced mine yet, so I'm not sure, but I would think the flat side goes against the seal.
