I got 2 pairs of db522s, for my dash and the roll bar pods. I wanted to use the stock speaker covers in the pods, so didn't go to bigger speakers. I'm pretty sure the stock covers will work, crossing fingers.

If you put your model in the crutchfield site, they'll send free speaker wire adaptors and free mounting plates to use 5.25" speakers in the dash.

If you put in your model on the crutchfield site, they'll send the wiring adaptors and the front adaptor plates for the dash. It should be plug and play, I don't think there is any cutting required for your 05', and it was a huge improvement.

Dang they have a pair of 652s scratch and dent I was thinking about getting
