Diff fluid level

I know there are a few post but they all recommend something different. TJ rubicon lifted 4.5" so pinion angle is altered. Can only get 1.75 quart even lifting up diff 6".

If you fill through vent to correct level because of angle wouldn't gears be covered to much acting like it's over filled and foam up gear oil?

An aftermarket cover will usually have a raised fill hole for tilted pinions.

The original fill hole puts the fluid level at the bottom of the axle tube (inside hole).
I use a dipstick to get it close to that same level.
