Dimension of bump stop extensions

Hey!

I am going to install my 2" lift on Saturday! Today I ordered some rear jounce bumpers, because my rear ones are destroyed.

My last thing to figure out before Saturday is bump stop extensions. I will try to make something DIY in order to use extensions exactly the dimensions I want to. And not just stack 1" on top of each other.

Can you please let me know, which should be the diameter for the extension for the front and the rear?

Thanks! Did you install the rear extension on the axle side or above the cup on the front side?

I’ve installed 1 front upper shock bushing per bumpstop cup. This gave me right at 13mm drop. It’s just enough to keep my tires off of the fender.

The rear bump stops should be placed above the cup, the front should be placed on the lower spring perch. This is due to the way the front travels in an arc, if you place the spacer above the cup you could get rubbing of the jounce bumper along the spring.

What I meant is, I know for the front extensions many use hockey pucks which are around 3" in diameter. What about the rear? Can hockey pucks be used above the cup or something smaller in diameter?

Actually I ordered stock jounce bumpers for the rear. They must be mopar. I will post with details in my build thread after I install the lift, most possibly on Saturday.
