decided to get back into a wrangler, bought a 2000 TJ that was in bad shape for really cheap, used parts from it, sourced a frame, sourced a new body, new windshield, some ebay parts for hinges and things. Original jeep purchased came with full doors and half doors. installed half doors with some slight fitment problems, driver door won't open from outside so switched to full doors. passenger side wont open from outside so sourced new exterior handle and all is well. Now, cant get doors to align or shut all the way. only catching safety latch and not 2nd click in. as i try to adjust doors to fit better i realized the bushings were missing from door hinges on passenger side and worn on drivers side. order a set and they are too big don't even come close to fitting in hinge and the door side bolt wobbles around in it big time. so order another set, same problem. am i missing something? door side bolt is small .37" the hole that accepts the bushing on windshield hinge is .46". both sets of bushings have a outside diameter of .51" and inside diameter of .42" way to big to fit my jeep. my windshield hinges are from ebay so no clue what actual year and lower hinge is from amazon, Rampage brand and this hole is even smaller. i think lower hinges need to go. ordering factory ones now. any ideas? am i do doing something wrong? are there different sizes? both packs said they fit CJ,YJ, and TJ. thanks
