I installed new amazon special round tail lights a few weeks ago and noticed the other day that it is completely dead. I put power to it to verify it wasn't a bad tail light. No blown fuses.
I read a few threads that said to check the tail light wiring. On a related note my third brake light flashes with my hazards and left turn signal.
Has anyone else seen this/point me in the right direction?
Thanks

both tail lights went to a ground on the inner fender. My initial issue was with the ground. I cleaned the area and both worked. then the driver went out again.

If you put power to it directly, and its fine

Then the next atep Id imagine is your blinker relay in the column , OR adding resisters inline with the tail lights

LED tail lights or turn signals dont have the same resistance that incandescents do. Im surprised they worked at all to begin with

Look into that Novita relay
I think this is the one

I ran the last set of LED tails for almost 2 years before this set no issues. Adding the Relay can't hurt.
I'll call out @Alex01 since he helped answer some questions when I initially installed the tail lights. Do you run this relay with your setup?

got it. my front turns are stock but I am running the trucklite knock offs. I've seen people recommend the relay when their turns are blinking too fast but not when one light stops working completely. Its on order, we'll see if thats the fix.
