Hey All,
I've been following this forum for years. I've had several Jeeps form a CJ7, YJ and 2 TJ's. I recently got back into messing with my Jeep.
I'm Currently working on my 2006 Jeep TJ X with Currectlync Steering and 4" Rough Country Lift
I'm slowly peeling parts away from the Rough Country lift to better quality parts. I'm slowly realizing the person who installed the lift did a lot of things wrong just from reading through threads in this forum.
They installed dropped pitman arm(with no locking washer and the instructions on the Currectlync Steering kit to NOT use a drop pitman arm) as well as a track bar with a relocation bracket installed. I ordered a stock pitman arm and an adjustable track bar that will be showing up this weekend for me to install.
My question at this point is short of making sure the axle is centered before locking down the adjustable track bar can i just adjust the drag link to fit into the stock pitman arm ? or is there something else i should be making sure is square/straight/level etc. while doing that.
I'm at work currently otherwise i would of posted pics.
