Duck rated

I don’t get the hate for the ducks. To me it’s just another tradition, just like the Jeep wave.

It’s just a nice gesture that says “Hey, cool Jeep bro.” Nothing more to it imo.

A 3 year old thinks this is a tradition because people have been doing this his entire life. A 4 year old has a broader perspective.

Regardless of how long it has been going on, it’s nothing more than a nice gesture.

Gladly. Don't touch my shit. Idk why anyone would think it'd be okay to fuck with my car or even worse reach into it

I’ve only seen folks put ducks on the cowl or door handle. Reaching inside is a big no-no for sure.

One of the big things I don't like about it is that it removes all interaction. And that's coming from a guy who will go well out of my way to avoid talking to someone. I love talking about stuff I enjoy with someone who has a shared interest.

around the east texas area the duck thing only seems to apply to the newer jeeps. i never see a tj or older model jeep with ducks on the dash. grandson gave me one, it never made it out of the house. still sits on the window sill by the dining room table where his grandmother placed it. sorry but, i’m not into ducks.

I suppose you can always chat with the other guys at the mall that don't have ducks on their Jeeps...

;)

Saw this today:

Agreed. Thankfully in Florrisant you shouldn't have to worry about too many folks fucking with your shit. Although there are a ton of tourists and campers driving along Highway 24 past Teller 1, etc. during the nicer months. Maybe just stay away from The Thunderbird Inn and the brewery.

Oh hey neighbor!

Yep it's going to be nice. How's the traffic compare to 285? That road is a shit show on most summer weekends

As an AI language model, I'm not able to provide real-time traffic information and I don't have the ability to display maps. However, during peak season or weekends, it is generally common to have heavier traffic in tourist areas, which could slow down travel times. It's always best to check traffic reports for the area you plan to drive through before embarking on your journey.
