I want to give this stuff a five-star review. Used it on a couple of minor rust spots on the frame, and it seems to be doing really well. The jury is out might have to put some more on in a year or so, but right now I really like the results. It is a good thing to try for our rust prone TJs. Now if yours is rusted really bad of course it's not going to work miracles.
 
I’ve used it extensively. The Eastwood RE is super easy to touch up and UV doesn’t phase it much. My entire frame is done with it as well. 9 years now…

It’s like anything else though. It can only work as well as the prep allows…

Yep it's great. Shipping is expensive so I bought a couple more aerosol cans than I thought I needed and I'm glad I did because one was faulty/splotchy, but the product itself works wonders.
 
With a name like Eastwood, it's got to be good. (y)

Has anyone had issues where small rust specs have started to form on the outside of the paint? My dad and I used it on our rebuild projects and I’m starting to see rust particulate form on the outside…

I've not tried to use this particular product and while it's good, it inherently does not resolve the underlying issue of rust under the paint. This is where a lanolin product helps seal everything up.

My dad and I had the frame sandblasted, maybe from the time it was done to painted small rust formed and is able to come through the paint? Not sure how oxygen is able to get through it honestly, the stuff is pretty thick.

Curious if we got a bad batch or something, cause we definitely have some forming on the outside of the paint
 
As far as I can tell, yes.

Spray it again. ;)
p.s. I did the inside of my frame with Eastwood products every 3 years before I listened to other members here about using Fluid Film. Greasy crap and it gets all over you when you try to work on your Jeep. Once you spray it, it never totally comes off the inside of the frame to use better products. I'm glad I did it after 4 cans of Eastwood products inside my frame.

We used the internal spray too, stuff was super runny! I’ve heard wool wax is a less greasy option, but I haven’t used it yet.
