Engine break in process on 4.0 rebuild

Just replaced the 4.0 engine in my 2002 tjX, and I was wondering about the process for break in. The first thirty minutes I think Inhave well (Rev in neutral between 2 and 3k rpms), then pil change, but after that Im lost. I heard somewhere that I should spend the first 500 miles driving the car like I stole it, but I also know that for new cars, you are supposed to drive them like a grandma for break in.

The one thing I have always done it to change the oil after 500 miles.

With the 4.0L, the instruction I got when I bought my TJ new was to drive it gently for the first 500 miles and avoid prolonged highway driving above 55 or 65. It's been a while.

But the important thing is to change the oil again after the first 500 miles.

I recommend break it in according to however the warranty provider says do it. That way if you have issues you are covered. You have someone rebuild it or bought from somewhere?
