Just purchased this 02 4.0 auto as a project I plan to keep for a long time - relatively new to jeeps and my own maintenance so pardon my frequent questions. I am getting to know the jeep and I’ve noticed a ticking tapping noise on startup that seems to be similar to what others describe as lifter tick? It doesn’t appear to be louder under load and does seem a little quieter once warm. It seems more apparently while idling or in park. I’ve attached a video in another comment below this post. Does this sound like something to have diagnosed or just keep on going and watch for any changes? Seems to be running well otherwise, just did a fresh 10w-30 change with new plugs and all 02 sensors. I believe it sat for a while prior to purchase, the old engine oil that came out was rather dark. Open to opinions. Thanks!
