After doing a Savvy skid system, I have a noticeable increase in vibration to the tub. I installed a new set of stock engine mounts and transmission mount. Is it normal for this to occur? FWIW, it is not the driveshaft, because it happens at idle.

Stock Mopar or stock as in stock style replacements from a parts house?

Sorry, I should clarify here. The replacement motor mounts are Mopar. The Savvy skid does away with the stock transmission mount and uses a Savvy provided mount. The replacement mount uses two rubber bushings for vibration control. I knew there would be an increase, based on the design. However, the previous Savvy skid I installed was on a manual transmission and the vibrations were not as pronounced as they are with the automatic. It has been awhile since I did that install, so perhaps I'm just imagining it to be worse.

I can't say how bad they should or shouldn't be with the automatic with the Savvy trans mount, but automatics are definitely more prone to vibration in general since they remain in gear when you're stopped at a stoplight or something.

Are you having more vibrations in Park/neutral now than you had in the manual in neutral or with the clutch pushed in? Those situations should be comparable. It just so happens in the manual that you never end up in gear at idle so you're naturally avoiding lots of engine vibrations that the auto can be susceptible to. I'm going to guess with the Savvy mount and an auto combination it's relatively normal, although it's hard to confirm that over the web.
