Correct, he is not the largest landowner, only what is considered farmland. Thought I read somewhere that Malone has moved into first place in that category....but could have been dated info.

My mom didn’t make the list yet owns more farmland in Iowa than it says Bill does.

The bottom line is, the total number of people is not decreasing, it only continues to increase. We know this. It would almost seem like the 10-11 billion calculated max was/is seen as some kind of target, but it was intended as a warning. We have been seeing the effects of hurtling headlong towards this "critical mass" for quite some time now. The more people there are, the more the effects of how we conduct ourselves is amplified, and I feel that can be applied to almost any aspect of human existence on this planet.

Now, if we consider the demographics on who is and isn't reproducing, well, that is a much different (and more sensitive) matter for debate. It would seem there are socioeconomic factors at play here, where some groups are being more thoughtful about reproducing in numbers (if at all) and others have no consideration for the matter...

Much of the developed world is reproducing at below replacement level. As more of the world becomes "developed" they will catch up and birth rates will drop. The last figures I saw projected we will top out around 9 billion and start declining.

Turns out when people

A) don't need 11 kids to help farm or

B) don't have 11 kids so at least a couple of them make it through childhood disease,

...they tend to stop around 2.

Gates likes stoking fear of overpopulation because he can push his vaccines on the entire developing world in pursuit of encouraging situation B. If it happens in it's own through industrialization and the improvements that come with it, he can't be the hero.

A narcissist with that much money is extremely dangerous...basically a real life Bond villain.

Also does not regenerate charge so always show <1% battery so basically an ICE vehicle only. Have not seen 1 charging station yet in Boca

Nothing kills new tech faster than financial losses. Volvo shut down their EV program this morning. Ford has stopped electric f-150 production.
I like parts of the ammonia fuel story, but like electric, you have to go back along the path of energy delivery. As we know, electric powered vehicles don't use electricity out of the air or lighting for power. They use electricity made by burning natural gas, oil, or coal; adding to the air pollution, just in another location.
It seems that ammonia has the same issue. The nitrogen is in the air, but the hydrogen is made by burning methane, the process of which generates most of the bad stuff we are trying to avoid, like CO2 and other pollutants. Still waiting for Mr. Fusion!!

Why aren't the climate alarmists advocating to slow population growth? All these new babies are going to want to eat meat, drive cars and sit around in the AC.

The elitists need dumb people, otherwise there will be no one to control.
