Sparks Fly After Disgraced Founder Picks ‘Diesel Brothers’ Star For Nikola Board
A man convicted of fraud appears to have tried to nominate a man accused of violating the Clean Air Act to the board of a zero-emissions truckmakerNikola Corp. says it has rejected a collection of five “dissident nominees” for its board of directors made by M&M Residual, LLC, a legal entity allegedly controlled by its disgraced founder and former executive chair, Trevor Milton. Among the nominees was Dave “Heavy D” Sparks, the star of the Discovery reality show, “Diesel Brothers.”
In a statement, the company says it reviewed the nominees made by M&M Residual, and found that they “add no skill or experience to the board, and indisputably lack the depth of experience” of the board’s current members.
In addition to Sparks, M&M Residual also recommended Cole Cannon, Derek Johnson, Hans Peterson, Paul Southam. Nikola has eight available board seats that it says are held by a group of individuals who are “reputable, leading experts in their respective fields.”

| Source "The story, brought to us by the Wham Baam Teslacam YouTube channel, goes like this. A white Model Y was going on its merry way on a California highway when it suddenly had to slow down because there was traffic ahead. Another Model Y, which had the so-called Full Self-Driving feature enabled, also managed to slow down in time and kept its body in tip-top shape. That’s until another Tesla, this time a Model 3, changed lanes because it couldn't stop in time and was hit from behind by a gray Model S that wasn’t doing anything wrong. The red Model 3 that swerved caught a bit of air after it was hit and then it smashed into the red Model Y that recorded the whole thing. Three cars were involved in the crash, but thankfully nobody was injured, according to the Wham Baam Teslacam video. The driver who changed lanes without first checking his side mirrors admitted he was at fault. The moral of the story? No matter how many cameras or safety assistants a car might have, if the driver doesn’t keep a safe distance from the car in front, it might be all for nothing. So stay safe out there and always check your mirrors." |

Buying a new electric vehicle is like buying a wedding ring. It's expensive upfront, but not worth much when the relationship ends. That is suddenly becoming a huge problem for E.V. manufacturers, because without a secondary market for E.V.s, the cost of ownership is much higher, providing yet another reason for the car-buying public to reject "the electric vehicle transition."

Tesla Cybertruck owners complain their new vehicles are rusting
Tesla's Cybertruck hasn't been on the road for long, but the stainless steel vehicles are already showing signs of rust, some owners are complaining.
The sport utility vehicles, which start at $57,390 and cost up to $96,390, were first delivered to customers in December. Just two months later, buyers are posting images on social media showing orange rust spots appearing on their new EV's exterior, in some cases after driving it in the rain.
Tesla did not immediately respond to CBS MoneyWatch's request for comment regarding the customer complaints.

Google says it was also 304.
When I worked offshore we couldn’t use 304 and had to use 316.
Not sure anyone would seriously dispute the value in things like crumple zones, seat belts & airbags. Back up cameras & heated steering wheels on the other hand...
I see Ramsey slightly differently than that, I think his primary focus is on debt freedom, the wealth building follows that priority which then gives the individual freedom to do whatever they want in life as opposed to living a paycheck to paycheck existence in chronic debt servitude. What you choose to do from that point forward is up to you. If you listen to him enough he makes pretty clear what he believes the uses for money to be, and there are three including spending, saving, and giving, with a rather healthy emphasis on the latter, though in his particular case I think he does all three in a very large way.
Financial security is the critical juncture, to me that simply means debt freedom & enough in the assets department to take care of you & yours until the end, beyond that piling up more and more money for the sake of fattening up makes little sense, but to each his own.

From the CEO of Delorean Motor Company speaking to the original DMC-12; "The body panels were brushed, unpainted stainless steel, but there were three made with 24-karat gold-plated bodies—two of which were part of a promotion with American Express."
Of the handful that I’ve seen in person, none have had stainless body panel rust issues. If some Teslas are rusting, I wonder what's different.
People with physical limitations would disagree. My body is worn out. Degenerative disc disease, arthritis, sciatic nerve damage, Chronic pain in my neck, shoulders and knees. Despite those issues, I still like to do the things that I liked to do when I was in my twenties. Back up cameras, blind spot monitoring, android auto, all make driving much easier and more enjoyable. There will be a day when I am a menace on the road and have to give up driving. Anything that can push that day out into the future is good for me.
"Debt free" is not all it is cracked up to be. One of the biggest scams in America is the credit score.
6 years ago I was 100% debt free. I have a pension, 401k, IRA, savings, own a home and vehicles free and clear.
Somehow, because I don't owe money, I am a higher credit risk and pay more for auto and home insurance.
I say again that there is not a one size fits all equation for anything in life. Each person has to weigh the pros and cons of each decision they make in life.
