So I have figured out how to maintain most of the wrangler I am just curious on what stuff people use to keep there exterior in good shape. If its keeping the color from fading to little extras to enhance my jeep in any way.

I've always used Zaino on all my cars. It really works wonders!

I probably will be too very soon then. Now all I’m wondering about stuff like little exterior accents and other little things to improve looks. Functional things would be nice too but nothing to expensive.

Most of us add aftermarket bumpers, LED headlights, a winch, lift, new tires, etc. It gets very expensive, very fast!

Yes im very aware of these expensive things im just wondering if people got little things like windshield hinges diamond plate anything just little visual things that may give protection for now the big stuff for later on.

None of that's going to give much protection. If you want protection, get the thing wrapped in clear bra. That's the way to do it for sure.

Body armor only equates to rust.

I've jumped on the Palm Beach Motoring Group products, they own a few brands like Pinnacle and Wolfgangs and a site called Autogeek.net. Chemical Guys also makes decent products. This is a deep rabbit hole to explore, just like looking for a lift lit.

i detail on the side and i use chemical guy for v-line polishes, jet seal, and vrp. i use meguires for tire shine can be bought at autozone or similar. griots garage for a few things sealants, seal and polish stuff plus more.

i personally prefer sealants over wax for durability purposes. if you have any questions feel free to ask man.

I debated between Chemical Guys and a few others, Wolfgangs happened to be running a good sale at the time so I went that route. I do have the Chemical Guys DA polisher, seems solid to me and a good price.

I went with Dodo juice wax, haven't used it yet. What brand of wax do you like?

i havetn used was in a while but the closest i have to wax in collinite 845 its a hybrid and it beads and shines like a champ withough going crazy.
walfgang is a good product and so it menzerna.

I have never used Dodo products but they seem solid. Chemcal guys has a bad rep in the detailing community mainly cause they come out with a new product all the time that does the same as an old product. i like a few of their chemicals, but dont use them as much as i used to.

Collonite 845 is a VERY good product at its price point. Even better than other "waxes" that cost double or triple. Collonite is a wax and sealer apparently. It does seem that way

Chemical guys has good marketing but most pros dont use them. I myself like the Wolfgang stuff too. Mainly their sealer when going all out in my paint protection.

My go to wax is P21S but mostly use the collonite now. There is probably better stuff out there but as much as I like detailing my cars, the law of diminishing returns kick in soon after.

@Blank this is all great information to me. I know car stuff but not this kind of stuff and tire shine will not be needed for a long while because the previous owners covered the tires with it combined with the fact that the tires were brand new.

I use CG products as well, Agree on the duplicate products and over marketing of them. I do like the removal of most of their stuff, way easier than Griots. Blank have you used their VSS compound/polish?

But V07 is my favorite product of theirs, use it to prime my polishing pads, as quick detailer and most of all when I am waffle towel drying, really helps to do a quick spray before final wipe to be completely streak free.

I use Meguiers paste wax for the paint here:

I use 303 areospace wax for all of the black parts including the top and the wheels.

What would be a decent user friendly product I could use to make sure the Jeep looks nice? I know at some point I will re paint the Jeep (I plan on keeping it long long term) but for now I want it to look decent and protect the finish as much as possible
