As far as I remember Jeep on other models had a 4wd shift lever that looked similar to gear shift lever except Tj we got an extra e brake lever Couldn’t take it any longer had to change it

I put in a metra double din radio bezel , With it you could use a flat insert or slightly indented. I bought some netting from fabric store tape and glued to indented panel and installed

I haven't decided on knobs yet but my shifter is "out for delivery" today. Knobs like yours would make things easy but I'm leaning old school and will probably end up fabricating adapters to use CJ or YJ knobs.

Shifter itself. I took a shifter from a salvage Jeep cut and welded threaded bolt to it
There were some available on eBay Already fabricated but , people I talked to said they didn’t fit very well
