If you need leverage to move through the range, something is wrong. The factory designed the stock lever to keep it low profile/out of the way when in 2-HI.

I have a stupidly long torso and a herniated disc in my neck that aggravates some nerves when I bend my neck back to look straight up, or in the Jeep, when I'm leaning forward to reach the lever while keeping my eyes on the road. I want to be able to shift the transfer case without having to do that and feel nerve pain down my arm.
