Gathering parts for an LS swap in my 2004 LJ. Will be pulling the drivetrain in a few weeks and will be selling the motor and trans (42rle) with advanced adapters rubicrawler installed. 144k miles, everything runs as it should. I think the rubicrawler makes it harder to price because i havent even seen a local stock 42rle for sale recently.
What do you guys think would be a fair price to sell them for?
TIA

I sold my 155k 1997 4.0 (bare; no intake or accessories) which ran well for $500 last year. I was happy and so was the buyer who put a carb on it and stuffed it into his wife’s CJ trail rig. For your stuff, assuming complete, I’d ask $1500.

i might be interested in the tranny back if you decide to split stuff up.
not interested if the crawlbox disappears.

I’ve been toying with the idea of converting from manual to auto so might be interested. No idea what shipping would cost but shoot me a PM if is something you would consider and want to talk numbers.

my plan is to try and sell the drivetrain together but plans rarely work out so if I split it up I will let you know. If all my parts come on time id say i have about a month before i list it.

I would split the engine and trans up. It may be easier to sell that way.
