Faulty fog light switch

So, the fog light switch on the end of the headlight lever appears to be malfunctioning. The original fog lights have been removed and have new dogs have not been installed. But the dash fog light emblem comes on randomly with or without the Jeep key in the ignition or the engine running. I have new LED fogs but need to fix this issue first.

Any suggestions on to fix this issue.

Yep, it is worn contacts inside the multi-function switch most likely. You can buy a new one or modify one little piece of plastic inside if you are mechanically inclined. I'm sure there is a writeup here on the forum, let me go try to find it.

Yes, the multifunction switch is an easy fix if you follow the write up and even easier to replace as a whole unit.

I Just fixed mine per the write-up a couple weeks ago. I love fixing stuff for $0 out of pocket!
