I've been looking for a Wrangler TJ in Southwest Florida for awhile. I recently took a trip to Jacksonville, NC to visit my son and came across this one, bought it, and drove it the 800 mile journey home. It is a 2005 Wrangler Rubicon with a 6 speed manual transmission. I love it. I've been browsing the different forums for awhile and picked up some very valuable information.

Thanks. I have 33 inch tires and I believe a 4 inch lift (at least that's what the previous owner said). We don't have any hills here in south Florida, but we have plenty of trails through the Everglades. I haven't been out yet. Need to find a 4wd buddy to tag along with.

That's a nice looking Wrangler! Good choice on the Rubicon as well.

Thanks Jerry. The bedliner is great. First time I washed her I was able to just hose down the interior. I think I'm going to leave the carpet out.

Just saying welcome and nice looking TJ you've got there. Your right next to the Big Cypress and Everglades wilderness you should have no problem finding someone or explore it solo.

I know National Geographic makes some nice topo maps of those areas too, always good to carry one. Built a little emergency kit in case you get lost.

I would also recommend SPIDERWEBSHADE to you as a local Florida made product, most likely looking to run topless year round but still have some solid UV protection. Worth a look, unless you've already got plans.
