Flakes/Debris in Coolant – Typical or Concerning?

'97 SE:
  • Ran the OEM radiator until about 15k miles ago. Installed a cheap replacement.
  • Less than 10k miles ago, flushed the system thoroughly, and treated with Thermocure.
  • Less than 5k miles ago, installed a lightly used OEM radiator. Coolant was still very clean at that time.
Recently drained the radiator to avoid spilling while installing an oil heater/cooler:
  • First pic shows debris with all 6-ish quarts in bucket.
  • Second pick shows same debris with less fluid, and a dime for reference.
How discouraging / concerning is this?

Most likely just iron/rust deposits from the block when you flushed it,Saw plenty of that on my lj lol,And I flushed it 7 times and gave up😆

Edit- (have I collected the deposits after every flush) If I had to guess id probably have a solid full small foam cup worth of deposits in my coolant system,So half a solo cup !?
