Proportions are weird on that. Needs to have the bed raised to the level of the front fenders and some fenders put above the rear tires under the bed. Then you could extend the bed out to a normal length without ruining your departure angle.

Like the ingenuity and creativeness, but those proportions are way off. You really either need to start out with an LJ or stretch the frame a bit for it to look right IMO. Even just adding a longer bed would help, but like someone said that would get you on the departure angle. The photos with longer "beds" remind me a lot of the Kaiser Jeeps, which are beyond cool (and way beyond my budget).

One thing on those flat-bed, TJ truck conversions: If you are actually using it like a truck, and have an accident while hauling more than the TJ’s GVW, you could be in a world of hurt legally.
