Anyone know what angle the front sway bar should be at where it connects to the links? Mine is currently below parallel with the ground by a couple inches.

I have found that my knocking issue associated somehow with my sway bar assembly. I unhooked the drivers side link and drive around and the knocking is gone.

The links are both good so it’s either the bushings or I need longer sway bar links.

I’m told that you don’t need longer ones for a 2 inch spacer lift, so it would have to be the bushings or I really should get longer links.

The links are usually set level to slightly above level. If you disconnect off-road that’s all you need to know. Things are more technical if you have an Anti-Rock or SwayLoc.

Can a lower angle cause knocking?

IDK, that tends to be a problem with one of the joints. If you disconnected it and it went away I think you found the joint/bushing. You really should have some extended links or quick disconnects so you can have the sway bar correct

Just bought the JKS for 2.5inch - 6inch lift. Recently purchased the Jeep and I’m told it has 2 inch spacers but the track bar is facing down quick a bit. I think the extra 2.5inch from the link will get it just above parallel. Thanks.

I have a feeling this will stop the clunking. I’m thinking that because my sway bar pours down by about 20-25 degrees I get a clink because when it gets pushed up it essentially pushes back and up because of the angle. We shall see

Thanks for all the help
