Front Track Bar Questions

[WWII Jeeper]

For my 2006 TJ X, stock, no lift, 1 inch body lift only:

Do I go with an adjustable track bar ?

and if so, what are the advantages with that over the stock type bar ?

Right now I don't have any intentions of going with a lift.

I'll be replacing the steering components with heavy duty Moog, and I've been told by a local shop that I need to replace the front track bar. Going for a second opinion on that, and I figure I'll start here in case it's confirmed.

With no suspension lift, you don't need an adjustable track bar. If the bushings are bad then a new track bar is in order.

You're welcome. If you are going to replace front suspension components, and a tie rod is on the list already, you might want to do the ZJ tie rod conversion while you are in there. It's a beefy upgrade for little additional cost. Plus, it puts all the adjusting bolts on one side, making it very slightly easier to do your own alignments.

Oh yeah, that’s right, I’m figuring the Drag Link in too, which is like $100, as well as that tie rod end, and a steering stabilizer, so oops, cost would come down to about $100!
