Fuel pressure sending unit

Hey I'm sure I could research this more but hopefully someone has the answer. I'm going to be taking the Jeep in for a new fuel pressure sending unit per a recall. I've never messed with a fuel pump yet. Im wondering if the sending unit is part of the pump? Does anyone know if they will be replacing the pump and all or can they replace just the sending unit? Thanks!

I believe that you are referring to the fuel level sending unit. But im not sure if they have a parts kit for that recall. I have seen posts on this forum that the OEM fuel pump is no longer being manufactured. So its a crap shoot. I would ask when you get to the dealer ship.

Thanks, yeah that's pretty much what I was guessing but wasn't sure. Obviously with Bosch not making the pump anymore I'm hoping for them to replace it all lol
