Fuel pump is not working

Dropped tank and skid case to replace rotted skid case. Pump pressure was perfect before tank was removed so I only replaced filter/regulator that's on top of module. After reinstall added 5gals new gas. Drove a short distance to check it out. Started immediately and ran great. After sitting for a few days went to start and now fuel pump not working. Is there something to check before pulling tank again. Relay seems to be ok. Swapped with horn relay which is the same and it works. Suggestions

Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition to the on position?

When key turned on you can't hear pump. If I crank engine there is no gas at test port on injection rail

Try pulling the wire connector apart and test the leads, there will be an orange and black (the 2 thicker wires) wires to the pump. Make sure the ground is good and there is a momentary 12v (2 seconds) on the Orange wire if the power side is good.

Ok will try that on Friday. If that checks out I'll remove pump to see if I can check it outside the tank. I'm great at all types of restoring but horrible at diagnostic. Thanks

X2 to the above. It's either the connection, or the fuel pump itself is bad (which is possible, even on a new pump).

Ok thanks. Just strange that pressure checked good before I pulled it out and started great after reinstall and all of a sudden stops. Must b a ghost in my jeep

Our Jeeps are starting to show their age and I have come across wire corrosion issues on the vehicle side fuel pump wire connector.

They are all the same actually

Since the Bosch pump is no longer made, I've heard good things about the Delphi unit.

As Chris stated they are both the same so if your replacing the pump order a 19 gallon unit. If you actually have the tank designated as a 15 gallon it can be simply modified into the 19 gallon by shortening the vent inside the tank when you open it up.

My 2002 sometimes loses fuel pressure I just unplug it and plug it back in and its good to go
