Full door window & lock woes

I have two relatively minor issues that I need to sort out with my door lock and my window.

First, I hope someone can point me in the right direction on this... I can lock my door from the inside, but I cannot unlock it from the inside (I can unlock it from the outside though with the key). I lost the bookmark on the thread that mention some little clip piece to the mechanism being likely as the problem. Someone had said the part was readily available at Autozone FWIW.

Second issue - my window, while rolled down partlially, tilts left and right and makes a styrofoam noise while I am driving. Not sure if anyone else has fixed a problem with a loose window like this, but I'd like to figure out what parts I need before I tackle the disassembly effort, which doesn't look to be fun!

Following. My passenger door lock does the same thing sometimes. Other times it works fine.

I'm pretty sure I had this same thing happen when I first got my Jeep. Have you taken the door panel off yet and looked at things? I'll see if I can dig up a picture that I took at the time.

IIRC there is some little plastic piece that broke and you can mend it with gorilla tape (this is what I did), just temp fixed it but it has held up for 2 years so far.

I don't garage my Jeep, so I'm trying to figure out what I'll need in advance of disassembling the door. I had scanned through a couple of videos on disassmbly, and it did not look trivial :/

Nor do I, and its not too involved. If its that same fix, once you took the door panel off it would be obvious as to what broke, I reconnected it and reinstalled the panel in under an hour casually.

Looks like a perfect opportunity for a well placed zip tie! Mine is doing the same thing intermittently with the passenger door. It is one my list of things to fix when it bothers me enough.

Phew, fixed... $3.99 Dorman 75450 kit saved the day. I was able to bend the rod back to a stiffer position and use one of the white clips to reseat it.
