Genright Comp EXT Suspension Package

It is like the KOH car, yeah, it looks good from here until you drive it and figure out that it won't crawl nearly as well as it bounces over stuff. You won't outrun it but you may not like how it gets from point A to point B unless that is your thing.

I can tell you mine bounces like hell with these IFP Fox shocks 😆

I'll check out his build for sure but 67 pages might lead me to drink several cups of coffee. As far as a bodylift & highline, My TJ has a 1" BL and MC fenders (yes, I know this forum doesn't like them either). Whether or not they'll stay is not certain. Funny how I'm probably like 99 out of 100 other TJ/LJ owners.. Build only to rebuild.
I wish ya'll would stop adding your own interpretations to crap. It is not an issue of like or dislike, it is an issue of the company being disingenuous about the actual benefits and some knowing the truth. If you like them that is more than fine, just don't try to tell anyone they do something they don't.

This entire fucking forum depends on not being fed a line of bullshit to maintain some tolerable level of decency. In fact, most of the members appreciate and depend on the fact that the truth about stuff is far more important than most anything else. The truth has very little to do with like and dislike.

If that isn't important to you, post up and the next time you need sound advice we'll know you aren't serious and any answer will do.

Oh yeah, I missed the part about 37s and 100" to 101" wheelbase.

Where did that number come from?

1.5" front stretch, the most I feel comfortable without really getting involved with steering box relocation. 5" rear stretch using Genright's EXT tank. I'm setting a benchmark for 100" and with the axle build, I'll need new wheels so why not new tires... I've seen local TJ's wheel with 37's and the breakover angle will be similar on 35's. Like Blain said, go have fun and figure it out... Maybe that was condescending.

Through, or behind? Behind only means you'll need to remove the dash to remove the cage.
Ahh I think you're right. Sorry for derailing.

I'll come at it from a different angle, I don't think anyone on here is running genright midarm, I didnt realize they had a midarm that wasn't part of their Tracer deal. I think you should do the GR so we get to see the results and maybe setup a Savvy v GR miarm wheel-off like the Bleeping Jeep guys do.

The upside is we get to sample all sorts of gear, learn how to use tools we should never even know the names of, spend lots of money and become qualified experts!!

I don't know what to call their kit because their same "stage 1" package frame brackets are used in their COMP & EXT kits and the first sentence to their description is "This package is for the guy who just wants to convert their Jeep to Coil over shocks (and does NOT want to stretch their wheelbase)."

This is how you learn stuff here. I hadn't really thought about the narrower rig on 35" tires finessing through a trail, taking its time, versus KOH build skimming across the top at speed. This seriously does help explain the very different approaches. Both share the goal of getting to the end, but one is about doing it faster than everyone else.

Closed course but fairly representative of how you have to drive them unless you want to air way down and try to crawl with them.

Wow that was awesome. There even looks to be some non $100,000 rigs out there letting er go. Can dana 60's take that kind of speed or are we talking about fabbed housings and 14 bolts for that kind of bouncing?

There's a guy out here that runs Chaos Fab Shop. This is exactly the kind of thing he builds for. I'm way to old to be bounced around like that. Cool for sure, but not my thing.

That first red jeep is Dawson Allington. If you follow his social media the racing page is baby_jeep_racing. He's running a currie 60 front.
