Anyone tried the new Go Pro Hero? How about using a Go Pro for a dash cam? I'm thinking about getting one for biking and sportfishing and maybe double as a dash cam. https://gopro.com/en/us/shop/cameras/learn/hero/CHDHF-131-master.html

Maybe they've improved, but the battery life i get out of mine has me convinced I would never buy one with a built in battery. I keep four on hand to swap out.

That's a big consideration. When used as a dash cam I'd want one that I could plug in.

Mine often overheats if I use it as a dashcam.
