Golen stroker 4.6 misfire

Hey all. I just bought my first Golen powered 2006 LJR. I have a TJ and LJ and finally found me a Rubi. This LJR had been sitting for a good period of time, so I had all the fluids changed and had it inspected to make sure I was good to run it. Previous owner stated no check engine light and we did check the history. After running it, still on 1st new tank of gas, I get a check engine light, then flashing check engine light, which I know means misfire. I know nothing about these engines, maybe this is a stupid question, if I need to replace a coil, am I just getting coils for a 4.0 jeep engine? Thank you for any insight!
 
Golen builds their strokers to be direct swaps so stock coils should be what you need. They even run on the stock ECU tune although custom tuning my be of some benefit.

After speaking to the previous owner, here's a few more things: has a Bosch fuel injection, Viper coil kit, WranglerFix ECU, as well as OPDA Crown replacement

Is this the Viper coil and spark plug wire conversion ?
IF so... the coil spark plug wires can be problematic with bad internal connections.
When I did the conversion; the pigtail that goes from the factory connector to the Viper coil pack was wired incorrectly causing a constant misfire. I traced the wiring in the pigtail and determined which wires were in the wrong positions on the connector and needed to reposition them.

Yessir, conversion. Plugs were not replaced, just fluids, so considering how long it sat, I'm gonna go ahead and replace them all.
 
So how does that work? Does the ECU need a different tune or do you use an earlier ECU or does that not matter?

If you have the factory distributorless ignition using the long coil bar that snaps onto the plugs and the coil bar is bolted to the head; you remove the coil bar, there is a pig tail that connects to the factory wiring harness and then to the Viper ignition coil block. The spark plug wires go from the Viper coil block to the spark plugs.
No change in tune nor replacing the ECU is needed.
I wrote up my evaluation on this setup a couple years ago with updates over a 6 month period.
There was no difference in MPG or performance; as far as I was concerned "It was a waste of money".
