Looks great, but your first post confused me: want stock components…..35” BFG’s….HA! Not really doable, and I’m about neck deep into a 35’s BFG KM3 build, ha.

For towing and what you’re doing, that TJR with 4” lift, will do more than anything described.

I tow mine, and just got a bumper with quick on tow bar, all 3 current Jeeps I have it works, and there are a bunch of drop in brakes. I personally use the magnet lights, and a super long extension. If I end up towing more often, just running that long extension underneath and zip tie it all up will work. I would not take on the headache of using built in lights, juts my opinion on battles I’ll engage, ha

Yeah, sorry, i probably could have been clearer with my first post. We have been burned by planning on adding aftermarket this or that to our offroader. Last one was a MarlinCrawler crawl box that we couldn’t get to stop leaking.

So we were committed to finding/using the best stock setup we could find. 4.0L/auto/241OR/Dana 44’s is what we settled on. Seems about as capable as we can get from the factory. I think we’re totally ok with adding aftermarket Chromo’s/RCV’s or replacing stock lockers if the OEM one’s go boom, for example, but i dont see us going to 1 tons or with a rubicrawler box or anything like that.

What tow bar did you go with? we have the same magnetic lights, they work pretty awesome for us. Cheap too.

I think we’re going to be buying a trailer but not for a few months, likely.

I actually got the SmittyBilt Tow Bar and Bumbers for my TJ and JK. Quick attach and it came with safety chains
