Sometimes I wonder how people find these old threads to dig up. I mean searching of course, but in this case, searching for what exactly?

Sometimes I look at the list of related threads at the bottom of threads. Sometimes I look at new posts. I don't always look at the date

Funny you say that..I'll get some notifications and it will be 6 likes from a thread from 2018 or something...I'm like, what on Earth? do people do that for toilet reading or something? I won't even remember writing the posts.

I think that's the people who usually stumble upon old threads via a Google search.

That makes total sense.

I will Google TJ questions sometimes, then it links me to here, then I get sucked in, and 20 minutes later I forgot my question and I'm trying to figure out how to tactfully say a snorkel is idiotic or how to "like" my last witty post or something and end up forgetting how I got here.

All in all, the gears work great. Probably not the best job because I put in my own Detroit Truetrac and had to shim my gears to get the teeth otters right. Never could get it perfectly centered but at least within tolerance, probably due to workmanship at that shop. But hey, I didn’t have to do all the labor they did, the seals were easy enough to replace, and I haven’t had issues since.
@AMS417 i left Colorado a few years ago after I commissioned in the Army so that’s not an option. Truthfully, I wouldn’t even trust them to watch my ride.

Apologies I didn’t see someone had revived a two year old thread. Glad it stayed together for you. Sometimes it the principle and I get it. There are shops I won’t touch here too.
