It's a 2006 and I got it with 126K miles on the odometer. It's been well cared for and not abused.
One of the first fixes was to replace the shot factory front seats. The driver's side seat springs were shot. I grabbed some Bestop seats and sliders. They are relatively inexpensive and easy to swap in. You do lose the lever to flip the seats forward but I'll do some research and find something to fab to let me get that back.
I did like the functional 6 disc in dash CD changer that came from the factory. But I wanted to modernize and upgrade the sound. I grabbed a double DIN kit and put in an Alpine head unit. I wired up a backup camera, upgraded the factory speakers, and the factory sub. I found the thread here about the MTX subwoofer upgrade and used that as a template
I also decided to add some trail comms. I found a bracket on fleabay for a Midland MTX275 GMRS. The slightly modified Terraflex tail light antenna mount works well. No good pics of the radio but I like the way the antenna fits.
I also added a ham radio using a modified CB mounting bracket. The antenna is on the matching brake light bracket on the passenger side. I managed to find an NMO antenna cable that was just long enough to go from the passenger rear to the driver side dash.
Lastly, I put in some hothead headliners to keep the heat down in the summer and help keep heat in during the winter.
That's it for mods for now. Eventually, I'll do more.
