Our stock 2004 LJ looks really low to the ground. Has stock wheel/tire size. Question is what is the factory height and what will the height be after 3 inch lift with 33's?
Wife is afraid it will be too high to get into comfortably.
Anybody with 33's and 3 inch lift with pics would be appreciated.
Considering the Teraflex lift.

Factory spring heights are 12" front, 8" rear, so a 3" lift would put you at 15" and 11", respectively.

LJ came with 30" tires so you're adding a out 1.5" to the radius, so I overall it'll be 4.5" higher.

Photos for reference.

This was a 3" Zone lift with 33x10.5 BFG KM2s and stock wheels, which create a more narrow stance. Another path is 33x12.5 with spacers or more backspacing but I prefer the tighter look and the better steering performance.

My ignorance, where is the 12 and 8 inch measured from?
I like the stance of your jeep
We will be flat towing behind motorhome.

Took a couple of pictures of it. My wife is 5'5" and has no trouble getting in and out .
Ours has 2 inch OME springs on the rear and 2 inch OME springs on the front with 2 inch Streetray spacers to help level it out . The front springs are 11 years old and settled in to about a 1 inch lift after adding the winch .
Tires are 33 inches tall.

Man I need to clean my Wheels, they look so shiny in this old pic. When I first put on a 3 inch lift with BFG AT 33x12.5x15
My Wife is 5/1 and does need the step to help her get in. Sometimes I'll pull up to a curb if i am in a parking lot to help her. I think the image above with the tape showing it's 25inches explains it best but, even then you have to get your foot above the body another 6. If it didn't have those side steps she'd need a portable step.

All these rigs with 3 inch lift and 33s got me curious, so I had to measure my springs (I have slightly more wheel gap than a lot of these...). I put the JKS 2 inch lift with a 1.25 inch body lift and 33s on my TJ back in Oct. Measures the springs last night, and the fronts I got just a red tit hair under 3" and the rear a solid 2.5" over stock. I've put about 2000 miles on since then, and no sag yet... I'll check again later this year...
