I’m replacing all my battery cables and I had to use a breaker bar to get this bolt lose on the ground wire to the firewall. I think I may of snapped something on the backside of the firewall because now it free spins (with some resistance) and won’t tighten or loosen all the way. Is there a reasonable way to access the backside of the firewall without doing any major disassembly?

I think I may of snapped something on the backside of the firewall because now it free spins (with some resistance) and won’t tighten or loosen all the way. Is there a reasonable way to access the backside of the firewall without doing any major disassembly?
I had the same issue when I installed the Big 7 kit. I added a single washer and then installed the bolt. Worked a charm. It was a while back so I don't remember for sure but might have been because the bolt isn't fully threaded?
Be sure to get that resolved. Any loose ground wires will wreck havoc on the alternator. A bad connection can cause wild voltage fluctuations when PCM can't get a good read of the battery voltage and it keeps raising the alternator output voltage.It won't see proper ground and will spike alternator output. I was seeing as much as 19 volts. The voltage gauge in the cluster was pinned. Tracked it back to the loose ground and problem solved.
