Hard top wiring for TJ

I am hoping someone can help me with the wiring on my hardtop. I have the wiring diagram that shows the defrost wires, the ground, the Wiper and then 2 wiper "park" wires that go into the top. I am trying to run wires to the rear wiper motor but would love to know what the wires do and how to wire them. Anyone have a diagram or personal experience trying to hook up switches to a hardtop on a jeep that did not come with a Hard Top?

Isn't your TJ wired from the factory? I thought the all were, but I could be wrong. Are you trying to run new wires to fix a problem or installing an aftermarket hardtop? You should have a connector at the rear left corner that plugs into your factory hardtop right? C326 in the figure below?

my jeep was not equipped from the factory with a hard top. I have bought one and have to do the wiring myself. I will double check with this diagram but there is nothing back there that is even close to the connection point.

Same here, no wiring. There’s a thread in TJ resources or how to that outlines what you need to do. Your basically going to replace your whole rear body harness and part of your under dash harness. It’ll be plug and play but you have to get the harness used and it’s a PITA of a job. Wasn’t worth it to me for rear defroster and wiper.

Yeah, I’m my opinion it was a whole lot of expense and PITA for what, the ability to see out the back window in crummy conditions? Hell the tire almost blocks it as is, and the Jeep has some pretty good side mirrors.
