Hi,

I'm putting on my hard top that came with my 2006 TJ. I have a Smitty Built Bowless soft top (Awesome!) that I have removed and I removed the windshield channel. Can I leave the door surrounds on when I put the hard top back on?

Thanks!

Frank

Also make sure the little projection tab on the windshield frame/seal fits in the slot of your hardtop at the door windshield corner.

The rear window lower tabs that hold the soft window can stay on. Gasket goes over with no leaks. (At least on my 06.

What's a mucket?

It is the little rubber seal that is attached to the tub at the door opening if you look straight up above the door strike

The door surrounds are actually doing the same job as the hardtop as far as giving the doors a place to seal-
