Hey everyone,
I am new to the forum and just got my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. That being said I hope some of you can be of assistance in helping me locate everything I need to properly rebuild the 4.0 engine. I know there is a book on amazon on how to rebuild it. The link is:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1613251386/?tag=wranglerorg-20
Has anyone read or used this? I do not have an engine stand or anything engine specific except basic tools however I am mechanically inclined. I just want to make sure I do the right steps when it comes to bearings and other critical engine parts that require diving back into the engine. I am not expecting perfection but I would like a great running engine the first time.
Any engine builder out there has a whole bag of tricks that make the engine perform and last a lot longer and that is the knowledge I'm hoping to dig into.
Thanks again for anyone who has done this and can help.
