Hey long time lurker first time poster. I just picked up this 2003 4.0 5 speed, 79,000 miles. The first thing I want to do is swap current lift for a shorter OME lift. I have some wheel wobble at certain speed and I think it may be due to worn upper control arms+the firmness of the shocks. Currently has 31" kumhos. Any tips or advice?

That's a unique red. Chili Pepper I think? Welcome. Your wobble is most likely tire balance, but check the steering for wear.

Is there anything specific I should tell the shop I go to? I was thinking about an alignment and a balance.

Have them check the steering components for slop, ie..ball joints tie rod ends, unit bearings, get an alignment, and balance all 4 tires.

Do not go to the shop yet.
Try to investigate first and know your rig well.
They might get you fix something that is not necessary.

Unless you have all the fund. But save that for your next mod :)

I was just going to get the alignment/balance as I don't have room in my apartment's small garage.
