Cruising the Facebook the other night I ran across a new in box set of JKS quick disconnects for 100 bucks and he happened to have a trail cover in tan color he gave me for 40 bucks!!!
after debating with my self for months I finally decided to pull the trigger and get the wheels I’ve always wanted.. the Methods are 17” JK wheels and of course I’m running a spacer.. so I wanted 15” And some nice white lettered ATs. I found the wheels used but a good deal.. 300 bucks and the new general grabber tires

I want to get the factory flares back on it.
The tires stick out alittle to much and Sahara and Rubicons has a 4.25” flare.
I have looked and as soon as I see a set come up the are bought quickly. So last weekend I did some research and found out that special editions ie. Rocky Mountain has the wider flare and I had seen a set on Facebook for a week or so locally.. So I sent a message and last weekend I picked up these

Here’s the newer seats.. some reason they wouldn’t upload on the earlier post.
Been doing some paint and sanding on the new flares.. want to see how close I can get to the factory condition of painted flares... so far so good

It's pretty impressive..and he's not a tightwad...more of a "predatorial lie in wait" type shopper.
He doesn't get stupid, just patient ...and keeps his eyes open. Got his lift for about $135.... Brand new from manufacturer or parts company..I can't remember which one but it wasn't a craigslist find.
And I've said this before...it's a nice,solid TJ ..it had near street tires and he's wheeled all sorts of stuff my Rubi did.

Ya.. I let people dictate my decisions.. I finally went with what I wanted from beginning!.. live and learn I suppose
New suspension, steering, track bar, seats, half doors, KC lights, headlights, bumpers, flush rear lights, spare tire carrier, switches, radio and speakers, sway disconnects, new wheels and tires and older wheels and tires, and 2 alignments, trail cover, 4.25” flares, full door not cracked interior door panels, plugs, wires ..$4100..

Ya I miss it.. I don’t tell many people this but I used the money for down payment for a lake house..so I guess it worked outOoo that orange TJ! Ouch! A sale I’d regret. Loving the black n tan Sahara

Just got these back today for my LJ.. they were NOT yellow so I had them painted and painted the interior panels with SEM landau paint..
