Hood light LED upgrade.

Upgrade your under hood light with a new LED bulb or the entire unit and bulb for $22. This unit is also plug and play if exchanging for your old light.

Here's what appear to be brighter bulbs but they point sideways. The ends aren't twisted like the above bulb. Doubt you could bend them on your own(?). Read a how to where the guy put foil in his housing to better direct light. But also commented that even sideways they were super bright. Another poster talked of putting two back to back(?).

I tapped into the factory light and used a KC Cyclone. Works great and still uses the gravity switch.

I'm a fan of the Cyclone. I don't like the dark area left on the left side. I did it a bit differently.

I have the Cyclones all over my Jeep. Reverse lights. Dome light. Hood light. They are awesome little lights.

Here’s the final out come. I painted the factory lens black that way it didn’t look like I had 2 lights.
