Still don’t care about MPGs as far as owning a Jeep. That’s only because I know that a Jeep is not the right vehicle for good fuel economy.

Still don’t care about MPGs as far as owning a Jeep. That’s only because I know that a Jeep is not the right vehicle for good fuel economy.
I played the math with my 33" tires. Basically going from 3.73 to 4.38 turned 4th gear into my current 3rd gear. Given that my Jeep can not hold OD accept when going down hill and that it could easily do 80mph in 3rd - seemed like a good trade. I will not have a noticeable change on the top side (since OD is worthless at the moment), but I will get more power in 1st. I am turning a 3spd (as I have to disable OD now) back into 4spd.
