How much is a Load Range C tire worth?

I have JK 17” wheels from the PO with load range E Cooper AT tires. I put on a OME lift with the OME sport shocks which are stiff. I would love to go to a load range C tire, but buying new wheels is not an appealing option. I have found there is a Falken Wildpeak MT in load range C (285/70,R17). I am leaning towards this tire (the only other tire in this size and Load range C is a KO2 and I want a MT) but wanted opinions on whether I am boxing myself in too much and should also consider some of the other multitude of options in this size in a LR E?

I'd run 15" wheels depending on what brakes you run. The JK wheels have more value now so selling them now will be easier. As time passes they will go down in value and the swap to 15" wheels will get more expensive. If the Falkens look okay to you then run them, they are decent tires. It's possible it'll still ride poorly with those shocks, it's all pretty subjective.
