How to install Savvy transfer case shifter kit

I’ve since learned there is an error with this information. I’m making the corrections and will post when finished.

So now that we’ve seen the incorrect method, here’s the actual way to do it.

I can’t say which design is “better”. I can make a case for rubber well nuts being problematic over time though.

Had a shop install it because I lack the time. Also had them do the body/motor mount lifts.

I'm gonna have to check mine - its in the pile of stuff waiting to be installed when this damn heat goes away in the fall. Without this thread, I wouldn't have known about it.

How much they charge you? I just got quoted $170 to have mine installed. But that was also one of like 20 other things for the entire project they just line itemed everything.

It was not cheap. Exactly what they charged I could not tell you. It was added all up on the labor charge.

$170 sounds not too bad. Thats like one hour and 30 minutes labor.

Oh my comment has nothing to do with the product they provide, but how they treat people trying to give them money(which will only help their expensive race team) is absurd. Their customer service is essentially fuck you, our time is more important than yours. Just don’t sell shit if it’s that hard to do so with any human decency. They make nice stuff, but they are shitty people.
