How to stop wiper blade chatter

The best results are obtained using newspaper to wipe it off and polish the glass at the same time.

After thought here, where do you find newspaper nowadays? I used to have a stack from years ago, but what wasn't important got used in various ways, and I can't think of the last time I saw a paper box.

The standard SilBlades arrived a few days ago and just now getting to put them in place.

Out of the box they are far better quality than the ones they are replacing (Bosch I believe) even though visually they are identical. The SilBladeshave a very high quality feel to them.

Light snow today and the chattering continued with the old Bosch blades but the SilBlades are dead quiet and smooth.

I call this a win. Thank you @Dr. Internet !! This was a great recommendation

SilBlades sound like something I would like to try for my wife's Forester and maybe her JK.

I'd really like to see updates to this thread over time because their website has me wondering WTF?

I saw a couple things that seemed weird enough to wonder if it's just a bad interpetation of chinesse (where I prefer to keep my $$$ away from) but the answer to the first FAQ really looks like American English. Unfortunately it hardly fits with their claim of "Years not Months"

I'll revisit in the future with updates. I don't recall what brand/line these replaced, but I am pretty sure it was Bosch or Rain-X. I know they were more than $25 per blade and I have them less than a year.

I have tried Silblade in the past. Waste of money. They lasted a year and their warranty was horrific to deal with. I have had much better luck with RainX Weatherbeater blades for $11.

Well, we will see. It's been light drizzle all day today and not a single peep out of them. They weren't any more expensive than the ones they replaced so.. whatever. They a cool while SilBlade logo.. so there's that.
